The 13th Horror Short-story Contest 2019 is calling for the third edition of the “Premi Especial Instituts”, addressed to upper secondary school students. The award will consist of an access ticket to the 12 Hours Horror Marathon.
The Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival, in collaboration with the Town Council’s Culture Department along with the Public Library El Molí, are calling the 13th Horror Short-story contest – 2019, devoted to horror short-stories written either in Catalan or Spanish.
After the successful edition of 2018, with more than 90 stories by upper secondary students from all over Catalonia, this year’s edition is calling again for the “Premi Especial Instituts” addressed to upper secondary students.
The main aims of this award are fostering the taste for horror literature, as well as improving creative skills of young people through building short literary texts (1.000 characters or less).
This category of the contest will include two awards: best short story written in Catalan and best short story written in Spanish. Each of the winners will be awarded one access ticket to the horror film marathon “12 Hores de Terror” along with a set of merchandising tokens.
Works to competition will be admitted prior Monday, September 29th 2019, and must be submitted though this form.
