He was a member of the Carnet Jove Jury of the Sitges Festival in 2016. His work, Fish Face, got the award to the best fake trailer at FANT Bilbao 2017.
He directed the short film Agapornis, which is currently being screened in festivals all around the world. He founded the web site TerrorActo. At present he is writing the book Freddymanía: Las Crónicas de Elm Street for Applehead Team.
Salamanca, 1980. He is a cinema reviewer, cultural content creative and community manager.
He has worked in fanzines such as 2000 Maníacs and Amazing Monsters as well as media like Tentaciones (El País), Udols, Passadís, Gonzoo (20 minutos), Imatges d’Actualitat, Blog de cinema, Espinof, Caní (El Diari), Tribus Ocultas (La Sexta Cultura) and Fcinco (El Món).
He directs the web and horror cinema community Horror Losers, he writes punk rock songs for the band Psycho Loosers. He holds a degree on Biology and Environmental Science.
Carlos J. Marín
Reviewer and cinema writer. Since 2004, he has worked in Aullidos.com, the most important genre and horror site written in Spanish, where he has become a specialist in festival coverage.
He has written and directed several feature films such as ‘Ressons’ (special mention at Festival Internacional de Cinema de Sitges), ‘Y tú ni te enteras’ (part of the feature film ‘Histèria de Catalunya’) and ‘Taché Privé’ (currently shown in festivals).
He has also co-directed video clips like ‘Days of Wine and Roses’ by Sommeliers and ‘Não Doeu’ by Susana Traassos. In 2019 he has been a screenplay writer of the tv series ‘Comando Squad – La presència’ for Flooxer; he has also worked as script consultant for Victor Conde’s feature film ‘Venus’.
At present he is a cinema journalist and also works for several horror and fantasy feature films.
