We are proud to announce that this year's inaugural screening of TerrorMolins will feature the international premiere of the film In The Trap<\/a> <\/strong>will be accompanied by a pre-screening of the cult surrealist film, Un Chien Andalou, with live music by musician Adri\u00e0 Bofarull.<\/h4>\n\n

Without a doubt, An Andalusian Dog<\/strong> is one of the fundamental films of surrealism, the fruit of the collaboration and boundless imagination of two geniuses like Luis Bu\u00f1uel<\/strong> i Salvador Dali<\/strong>. Released in 1929, the 21-minute film is a confluence between the dreams of its director Luis Bu\u00f1uel, a knife that cuts out the eye, and those of the multifaceted artist Salvador Dal\u00ed, a hand full of ants.<\/p>\n

I love dreams, even if my dreams are nightmares and that is most of the time. They are strewn with obstacles that I know and recognize. This madness for dreams, which I have never tried to explain, is one of the deep inclinations that have brought me closer to surrealism. Un chien Andalou was born from the convergence of one of my dreams with a dream of Dal\u00ed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An Andalusian Dog<\/strong> is the most significant film of surrealism, provoking a moral impact on the viewer through the violence of its images and offering him a journey of no return to the dream world of its director. In it we can see one of the most iconic sequences in the history of cinema, the razor that cuts out a woman's eye. The film is the cinematic beginning of two of the most outstanding artistic careers in the surrealist universe.<\/p>\n

We wrote the script in less than a week, following a very simple rule: not accepting any idea or image that could give rise to a rational, psychological or cultural explanation.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In an edition dedicated to The Surrealist Look<\/strong> It is our obligation to screen this cult film with the addition of having a live musician who will accompany, with an original composition, the screening of the film. There can certainly be no better night for this fantastic screening than the opening session of the Festival so that minutes later we can enjoy our inaugural film. In The Trap<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The person responsible for putting music to this gem of cinema is Adrian Bofarull,<\/strong> electroacoustic musician, has disseminated his sound world in multiple editions on labels all over the world; often his music has a certain conceptual background from which he deploys his sound flow. In recent years he has focused his activity on improvisation, sharing the stage and projects with many of the musicians of the local scene.<\/p>\n

His latest solo release is Secret Event Transcription<\/em> (Auriculab 2018). This 2019 has appeared Live at M\u00e1gia Roja<\/em>\u00a0Debut recording of the trio Antiterra formed with Jaime L. Pantale\u00f3n (guitar and effects) and Oriol Roca (drums, percussion). He also maintains a duo with the multi-instrumentalist Jes\u00fas Asenjo.<\/p>\n
