20 Short Films are competing for the 2021 TAC Awards. The best Horror and Fantasy shorts of Catalan production.
After a 2020 marked by the pandemic and the cancellation of some of the federation's member festivals, the TAC returns with its batteries fully charged. We are returning to the usual awards format and we can now announce the list of short films selected for the 2021 TAC Awards. There are a total of 20 Catalan productions that participated in the official sections of the different festivals affiliated with the federation during 2020.
Of the 20 selected, a jury formed by representatives of all the festivals will choose five, which will be the ones to compete for the TAC Awards for Best Short Film, Best Performance and Best Special Effects, in addition to the audience award. The five finalists will be announced during the Cryptshow Festival in Badalona on July 2, 3 and 4. Finally, a jury formed by professionals from the sector will determine the winners. The awards will be presented in October,
during the Cardoterror of Cardedeu.
