ANGOIXA Award for the best project for the production of a horror short film in Catalan.
Conceived as an opportunity to promote creation in the Catalan language within the horror genre, the ANGOIXA Award for the production of a short film in Catalan by TerrorMolins was born with the desire to support new authors and make it possible for their projects to come to life.
Aimed at creators with a Catalan horror short film in development, this award offers €5,000 for its production, the necessary support to prepare its presentation and the possibility of defending it in an open pitching session during the festival. As a novelty for this edition, it will also include a contribution of €700 in rental material thanks to the collaboration of NRD Multimedia.
The winning short film will be officially premiered at the 2027 edition of TerrorMolins.
The call is open until September 21, 2026, and will culminate with a public pitching of the shortlisted projects on November 12, 2026, within the framework of the festival.
With this initiative, TerrorMolins reaffirms its commitment to emerging talent and production in Catalan, offering a space where new creators can find real support to turn their ideas into cinema.

The Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival will award a project with €5,000 for its production, €700 in rental material thanks to NRD Multimedia and will premiere it within the framework of the 2027 festival.
