What is it?

A terrifying experience for brave young people!

TerrorJove TerrorJove is a section of the TerrorMolins Festival that has the goal to bring horror movies to young people and adolescents. Through a selection of films that is tailored to their age and specific activities, TerrorJove wants to:

  • Awaken their passion for horror cinema: Awaken their interest for this genre, which is very popular among the younger generations.
  • Fomentar el pensamiento crítico: Helping young people to reflect on the messages and ideas that are conveyed in horror cinema.
  • Foster creativity: Offering spaces, so young people can express themselves through horror cinema and develop a critical and unique viewpoint about this fascinating genre.

 

Activities:

  • Film screenings: TerrorJove selects horror movies that are tailored to the viewers' ages, with a programming of horror films that includes both classics and new films.
  • Workshops: We organise workshops about makeup, special effects, screenplay writing and film directing, where young people can learn about the secrets of horror cinema and use their knowledge.
  • Conferences: expertos en cine de terror imparten charlas sobre la historia del género, sus subgéneros más populares y sus autores más emblemáticos. 
  • Contests: TerrorJove organises costume, drawing and screenplay writing contests, where young people can show their creativity and passion for horror films.

    SCREENING OF THE MOVIE: "PRESCHOOLERS: CHILDREN OF THE APOCALYPSE"

    Acclaimed by critics, Preschoolers: Children of the Apocalypse by Isaac Ezban will lead you to an experience that will delight children and adults alike. This film screened by Terror Jove is here to become one of the most waited for in the entire festival.

    Do you want to participate in the Young Jury Workshop: Learn how to act as a jury of a film festival?

    Participate in this free activity on Thursday, November 7th at 17:30 in the El Molí library.

    Those who participate in the workshop will have the chance to be members of the Young Jury for TerrorMolins. The workshop will have three parts: a class on viewing and criticising film, going to an official short films screening of the festival and, finally, meeting the rest of the jury to decide the awarded short films.

    Activity for teenagers from 1st to 4th of ESO.
