Roundtable: Witnesses of panic: anatomy of found footage through new perspectives. Moderated by Jordi G. Montané

From the boom of portable cameras and the impact of the internet to the pandemic and the era of deepfakes, found footage has always reflected moments of social crisis and collective distrust. This subgenre of horror, which turns the viewer into an involuntary witness, acts as a thermometer of our fears by exploring the blurred line between reality, parody and manipulated image. Framed in the TerrorJove cycle, the talk brings together a panel of young creators and analysts to review its evolution, the peaks of popularity and find out what future awaits a format that is now being reborn on the screens of new generations. Participants Ania Posada, content creator and disseminator. Maria Duñó, film critic and presenter. Dani Grandes, filmmaker, cultural journalist and researcher at UPF. Moderator Jordi G. Montané, cultural communicator. This activity will be held in Catalan.
