After the announcement of the leitmotif of the Festival, one of the most special moments for us arrives, the presentation of the official poster, a collaboration between photographer Joan Gosa and designer Joan Jarque, both members of the festival team.

How was the process of creating the poster?

As you already know, the leitmotif of this edition is Counterculture and the poster for this 40th edition is based on this concept. We wanted to pay homage to all our posters, as well as to this search for new airs to break with the authoritarianism typical of the decade that saw the Festival born in that distant 1973. We have opted for a large-format collage that was made manually, photographed and digitally modeled. It transports us to the seventies posters and the counterculture movement of that era.

Joan Gosa, born in Pallejà, is a professional freelance photographer. He considers himself passionate about world cultures and the relationship between man and nature. He combines his great passion for travel with his work as a sports and news photojournalist for a major news agency. He has his own photographic studio, where he develops his personal and professional projects alongside his clients. His relationship with TerrorMolins began in 2017, assisting as an official photographer; from that moment on he became a vital part of the Festival.

Joan Jarque, born in Molins, defines himself as a multidisciplinary designer in love with video-mapping and horror cinema. He collaborates in the Festival's communication management, within its communication and marketing department, as well as in the creation and production of live video-mappings during the days in which the festival is held. He works as a creative producer for the Framemov studio and is also a freelance graphic designer for various brands. His relationship with TerrorMolins began in 2001, attending the Festival with his parents, who are also great lovers of this event with genre cinema. It is clear that terror is part of his genetics.
