The Festival is preparing a retrospective exhibition to commemorate the 40th edition. The Ca n'Ametller exhibition hall will host one of the central events of the celebrations. The exhibition will open on Friday, October 29, and will be open until Sunday, November 14.

Images, both graphic and audiovisual, will be the backbone of the exhibition, which will be structured by decades, from the 1970s to the present day, with a prominent role for the public and horror cinema itself. Likewise, work is being done on a striking graphic staging, which also reflects the desire to pay tribute to the counterculture as the social context in which the Festival was born.

A series of talks, including on the counterculture itself, will complement the exhibition and serve as parallel events to the celebration of the 40th edition. The production of the events is the responsibility of the Festival itself, with the support of the companies Cerygres and Guinot Prunera.
