SHORT FILMS – BROKEN SECTION

For how it introduces typical Catalan traditions with an unexpected twist, while claiming the playful aspect of the genre, with a great sense of humor and rhythm, and highlighting the performance of the protagonist, the first mention goes to AL NADAL TOCA FUSTA, by Max Calvera. For turning an everyday situation that we have all experienced and can recognize, into a scene of real terror, with a great performance by Dafnis Balduz, the second mention goes to MOLAPHONE, by Daniel Padró.
o For an impeccable staging, which creates a suffocating and sickly atmosphere, with all the elements very well studied, anchored in the past, and celebrating the brilliant performances of the three protagonists and the ability to play with the viewer, the award for best short film goes to LA MASIA, by Víctor
Catalan.
