Today marks exactly 50 years since the oldest horror film marathon in Europe was held for the first time in Molins de Rei.

A totally innovative and transgressive idea was born given the historical context in which it was born. During the first years it was 16 hours straight, in the middle of July and in some rough weather.
wooden armchairs.

That embryo of what is now Terrormolins, had a spectacular reception from the very beginning, and for decades it has been forging this idyll that Molins de Rei maintains with horror cinema. Many generations of spectators have since enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) our beloved marathon.

The gratitude to those who created the first edition is eternal and sincere. Thank you very much for your audacity and courage, for your love of cinema, and for leaving us such a wonderful event as this.

Here's to many more years. Long live 12 Hours!
