Talk: The J-Horror, the terror that came from Japan

When the Western horror market was saturated with the second part of I Know What You Did Last Summer or the Scream saga, a Japanese film that explored folklore by highlighting supernatural entities, becomes the highest-grossing horror film in history. The year: 1998. The film: The Ring. J-Horror was coming to the West. Nothing was the same anymore. This session will be introduced by Gloria Fernández and Enrique Garcelán, founding partners of CineAsia, a cultural and editorial platform dedicated for more than 20 years to the dissemination and promotion of Asian cinema.
