Conceived as an opportunity to promote creation in the Catalan language within the horror genre, the TerrorMolins Award for the production of a short film in Catalan was born with the desire to support new authors and make it possible for their projects to come to life.
Aimed at creators with a horror short film in Catalan in development, this award offers €5,000 for its production, the necessary support to prepare its presentation and the possibility of defending it in an open pitching session during the festival.
The winning short film will be officially premiered at the 2026 edition of TerrorMolins.
The call is open until September 23, 2025, and will culminate with a public pitching of the shortlisted projects on November 13, 2025, within the framework of the festival.
With this initiative, TerrorMolins reaffirms its commitment to emerging talent and production in Catalan, offering a space where new creators can find real support to turn their ideas into cinema.
