November 29, 2016

[:en]On Friday, November 18th, we presented the awards for Horror and Gore Micro-Stories Contest which in its 10th edition had received more than 150 works. The authors had to use their imagination to, in no more than 333 words, make the jury's hair stand on end.

On the occasion of this 10th edition, we thought it would be a great idea to bring some of the winning stories from the different editions to all our readers in a terrifying format, the audio stories. Courtesy of Radio Molins de Rei, we offer you the audios of some of them, read with passion, so that you can enjoy them as they deserve...in the tranquility of dim light and generous silence.

A text can have power, but nothing like the voice to give all the necessary dramatization to a story and make it come to life. As proof, on October 30, 1938, the great filmmaker Orson Welles sowed panic in the United States while narrating live the adaptation of HG Wells's War of the Worlds on the radio. A large part of the 12 million Americans who listened to him really believed they were being invaded by aliens.

Enjoy these nine stories and encourage yourself to participate in the successful edition of the Contest.

We received more than 150 short stories whose authors put their brains in motion to, in 333 words maximum, scare the hell out of our jury.

Being the 10th edition, we want to offer you some of the participant short stories from other editions in their most scary form, audio. Courtesy of Radio Molins de Rei here you can hear the stories read out loud with the best attitude. Enjoy them alone and in a dark and silent environment.

A plain text can have strength, but nothing like a voice to get the best of an horror short story and bring it to life. As en example, the 30th of October 1938 the filmmaker Orson Welles spread panic around the United States through the radio waves by reading HG Wells's War of the Worlds. Most of the American citizens thought there was actually being an alien invasion on American soil.

Enjoy these 9 horror short stories and dare to participate in our next year's Short Stories Contest.
