SYNOPSIS

Shoo, who is studying palliative care nursing, must take care of an agoraphobic elderly woman in a remote village in Ireland. There, echoes of her past test her mental stability and her perception of reality. The second film by director Aislinn Clarke, which was screened in the Official Selection of the Locarno Festival, delves into the disorienting effect of past traumas in a suffocating proposal filled with myths and folkloric elements where references to totemic films such as The Wicker Man are guessed.
