This year, with the spot, we wanted to pay tribute to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Shot entirely on 16mm film, we have proposed a formal aesthetic proposal marked by the use of slow motion. It includes visual references to shots of Shark by Spielberg or The Host by Bong Joon-Ho, as well as an approach to Patrick Bateman's character in American Psycho.
Thanks to the technical team at ESCAC, we have been able to carry out this cinematic proposal with great strength and personality. The work of Gadget FX, with Juan Serrano at the helm, has given us that gore and visceral touch we needed.
The magnificent performances of Júlia Lara and Dani Andreu provide realism in an atmosphere of anguishing and bloody terror. The final touch is the original music by Joan Vilà and the immersive sound design by Eloy Rodriguez.
It has been a complex production, we are very happy with the work carried out and we hope that it is reflected in each of the shots.
