ANGOIXA Award for the best project for the production of a horror short film in Catalan.
Conceived as an opportunity to promote creation in the Catalan language within the horror genre, the ANGOIXA Award for the production of a short film in Catalan by TerrorMolins was born with the desire to support new authors and make it possible for their projects to come to life.
Aimed at creators with a Catalan horror short film in development, this 2026 award offers a prize for their production, the necessary support to prepare its presentation and the possibility of defending it in an open pitching session during the festival.
The winning short film will be officially premiered at the 2027 edition of TerrorMolins.
The call is open. until September 21, 2026, and will culminate with a public pitching of the shortlisted projects on November 12, 2026, within the framework of the festival.
With this initiative, TerrorMolins reaffirms its commitment to emerging talent and production in Catalan, offering a space where new creators can find real support to turn their ideas into cinema.

If you are developing a horror short film in Catalan, this call is for you.
The Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival will award a project with:
🏆 5.000 € for the production, awarded by the Festival.
💰 5.000 € for production, offered by ALDA Productions.
🎥 700 € in rental equipment offered by NRD Multimedia.
🎵 Composition and production of the BSO of the award-winning project offered by THE MASIA STUDIOS.
🔊 Bonus valued at 250 € for the direct sound of the filming for the other finalist short films, offered by THE MASIA STUDIOS.
The winning project will premiere within the framework of the 2027 Festival.
