The Devil's Bath

After a time directing North American productions, the duo responsible for the highly acclaimed Goodnight Mommy returns to their origins and goes back in time. Specifically to 18th century Austria. There, in a small village in the middle of the wild forest, a woman gets married and begins a simple and happy married life. But something is not right, and as time passes, the illusions are transformed into a deep discomfort that leads her inexorably towards the gates of hell. A story based on true events that takes folk horror to the most atmospheric, dark and disturbing dimension and that won a Silver Bear in Berlin.
