If Re-Animator were to raise its head, it would surely have a great time with the debut of young director Sasha Rainbow, a body horror about failed experiments, high school dramas in the style of Mean Girls and twisted revenge in the style of Audition. After the tragic death of her father, Wei, a Chinese teenager, moves to her aunt's house in New Zealand. There she will try to continue the search for her father, a scientist, and make a place for herself in the world. But things get complicated and as the investigation progresses, a descent into hell begins based on fluids, face masks, corpse flowers and brushstrokes of visceral humor. Literally.
