The industry section of TerrorMolins will host the Co-production Forum for the third year, with more than a hundred invited companies.
The III Argentina-Spain Co-Production Forum, organized by the associations of independent producers APIMA (Argentina) i PAC (Spain), and the Terror FestivalMolinshave signed an agreement with the prestigious Ventana Sur film market with which they will award a prize to one of the finalist projects in the section Blood Window + Fant.Latina. Specifically, those responsible will be offered the possibility of presenting the project to the producers attending the Forum, either as a finalist project in the next edition or through accompanied one-to-one meetings.
This initiative will take place on the days November 9 and 15, 2023 and will include a subsequent period of one-to-one meetings. Created with and for independent producers, with the aim of implementing a network where experience and knowledge can be shared, and also generating co-productions; this year it will offer different activities: a face-to-face meeting between the two producer associations during the TerrorMolins Festival; an online presentation of case studies of successful Ibero-American co-productions; and an online event where ten selected projects, five for each association/country, will be presented to the participating production companies.
Adding up 92 production companies represented between both associations and counting on the presence of other invited companies, a potential participation of approximately one hundred film companies is estimated, mainly from Argentina and Spain but also from other countries in the Ibero-American area.
Ventana Sur is the world's most important Latin American film market, organized in Buenos Aires (Argentina) by the lnstituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (INCAA) and the Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival. Blood Window is its specific promotion platform for Latin American filmmakers specializing in horror and fantasy films. Fant.Latina is its program to give visibility to the work of Latin American filmmakers.
It is worth noting that the TerrorMolins Festival's alliance with Ventana Sur includes two more actions within the Blood Window + Fant.Latina section. Specifically, the awarding of the TerrorMolins Horror Talent Award and the sponsorship of one of the finalist projects that will participate.
