In 2018 the Molins de Rei Horror Film Festival reached an agreement with the production and distribution company, A Contracorriente Films, one of the most important companies within the competitive movie market. This agreement is materialised with the edition in DVD/Blueray of a short film awarded in the Official Section as a complement of a feature film of the company’s catalogue. This way the Festival wants to strengthen the visibility of short films with special high quality editions which appear in the Spanish and Andorran markets the following year after their screening in the Festival. So far we have seen the editions of Post Mortem Mary+Ghostland en 2019 and The Third Hand+Little Monsters en 2019.
Last July 13, the third joint edition, of a horror genre film with the winning short film of the 2020 official section went on sale, in DVD and Blu-ray format, fruit of the agreement between A contracorriente films and Terror Molins initiated in 2019.
The fan will be able to enjoy the film The Owners directed by Julius Berg, with the maximum attraction of having Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and the exceptional Swedish short film ‘Killing’ Small Animals made by Marcus Svanberg. Both works are united by that claustrophobic touch both at a personal level and in the environment surrounding the protagonists. No one will escape from that suffocating sensation.
