Terror Molins is back in the Teatre del Foment

One of the big news of this 40 edition is that the mythic Teatre de El Foment will be a venue of the Festival again. A centenary space that since 1982 til 1990 hosted the 12 Hores de Cine de Terror, in the beginning sharing programme with La Peni, to become in the last two years, the only venue of the Festival

So, going back to El Foment is like coming back home, because the Festival lived there one of its most successful times, with cult films and some of the dearest performances A come back that is special in two ways for the organisation, because some of us were there as part of the audience living our first marathons and starting our love story with TerrorMolins.

With this new period at El Foment, twenty one years later, we want take a step forward in order to offer new and attractive cultural activities. lectures and special sessions, discussion worksops, and even live concerts or live podcast, karaoke sessions… and many more things.

Moreover, the new venue will offer morning activities almost every day, so the festival widens its programme around the clock. With this new period at El Foment, we want to use its excellent facilities as well as its town center location to call not only cinema lovers but the rest of the local population, who will find new and attractive cultural activities.

Last but not least, we want to highlight that El Foment will get part of the spirit of the late venue La Gòtica, hosting the feature films competition True Survivor, the retrospective sessions and the short film session Ç-Trencada . It will also host this year’s edition of the Industry Days, our professional event designed as a meeting point for emergent horror and fantasy film makers and the film industry; a space suitable for network creation, knowledge interchange and improvement, and project progress.
